Cypher, RANDOM MOUNTSBeen using the macros below for my random mounts.  The numbers in red are the positions of the SWIFT mounts on your mount window.  The green numbers are the slow mounts. Easiest way to identify which numbers go where – open your mounts window.

Using the grid above, write in the position number of the mount into the appropriate box.  Feel free to leave out any mounts you don’t want to use.  After you’ve listed all the mounts, copy the position numbers into the appropriate macros.  Simple!  Only problem with this macro is when you get a new mount it will change the positions of other mounts and you’ll have to redo the macros.  Not really a problem with me because I don’t have that many – but this is an easy way to use random mounts. MountFly – This macro is for random flying mounts.  Swift mounts are automatically picked, but if you want a random slow mount, hold the Alt key and click the macro/run if IsMounted() then Dismount() return end local t if IsFlyableArea()and not IsModifierKeyDown() then t={2,4} else t={5} end CallCompanion(“MOUNT”,t[random(#t)]) MountLand – This macro is for random land mounts.  Swift mounts are automatically picked, but if you want a random slow mount, hold the Alt key and click the macro/run if IsMounted() then Dismount() return end local t if not IsModifierKeyDown() then t={1,3} else t={6} end CallCompanion(“MOUNT”,t[random(#t)])
SONS OF HODIRYou weren’t sure why everyone does the Sons Of Hodir rep – it’s for the shoulder enchants.  Typically, they have one of the best shoulder enchants in the game.  However, scribes have a MUCH better enchant.  Depending on the class, better shoulder enchants might be found with Knights of the Ebon Blade, Kirin Tor, or Wyrmrest Accord.  Check wowwiki for the enchants each faction has to offer and skillup that faction’s rep first. V – the miniseriesWatched the pilot this past week and it was AWESOME!  I kind of wish ABC hadn’t spoiled the reveal of the spacecraft because one of the most spine-tingling (yes, I mean that literally) moments was when we saw the reflection of the spacecraft in the buildings as it moved into the city.  I watched the old V miniseries back in the 80′s and I vaguely remember it, but the pilot for this version has me hooked. FLASH FORWARDHaven’t heard you and Hyp mention watching this show.  It’s ABC’s replacement for Lost which is in it’s last season (thank god!).  I loved the first two seasons of Lost, but then it went so far off course in season three that I gave up on it.  Flash Forward is every bit as engaging as Lost was in the beginning.  The difference is that the producers have already scripted out the entire series versus the producers of Lost who only scripted out the beginning and the end.  I want to highly recommend this to both of you. All for now!  Really enjoy the podcasts – keep them coming mates!

• Defended orgrimar with Wheetbix, Johnthomas, and Vyv.  No achievement?
• Worked on the sons of Hodir quest chain.  Cool story that leads to Ulduarr
• Ran Halls of lightning with Hyp, Pird, Mypenus, and Teors – this allowed my to finish the Sons of hodir quest chains.  Got a set of sholders.
• Ran gundrack with the same group.  Got a nice ring upgrade due to the kindness of hyp
• Killed one of the world dragons (emertiss) with Betenoir, Hornne, bullbag and hyp.

Hypknotoad:

• Ran loads more heroics
  • ToC not as easy this week as last.
  • 2 nights we had lots of trouble with the first three random kills
• Gear Score is improving getting close to 4000
  • PT said i’d be in Ulduarr 25 with him next wk at this rate.
• Leveling Eng
  • Grim gave 130 Cobalt Bars to me.
  • Eng at 430
  • Went to BRD for the repair bot
  • Got the schematic for Jeeves
• Got my 8th tooth towards the venomhide raptor mount.
• Loads of daily dungeons
• 100 Dal cooking awards, got my chiefs hat!!
• Levelled First Aid to 410
• Ran H Occ for the first time with guildees, understand why people hate it so much.
• Got my first tier piece Conqueror’s Scourgestalker Headpiece
• Got my second tier piece Conqueror’s Scourgestalker Tunic
• Hate pugs love guild
• Teo suggested beimba great help
• Got both the Needy and Greedy Acv last night.

Population: 379 – wemb sent us a breakdown of the guild stats.  Still the DK army with 47 percent of toons in the guild as DKS.
