Our weeks in WoW:

Cypher:

• Yup… White TickBird.
• Got My Sons of Hodir rep up to revered.  Picked up the lower lvl shoulder enchant.
• Finished the holiday achievement Pilgrim.  Got the title and the pet.  Funny pet animation when he’s near a cooking fire.
• Used the holiday event to raise cooking to 330.  Working on bringing it up the rest of the way without fishing
• Ran Naxx got a set of bracers.
  • Tried to help with the zombie kiting… ended up tanking them which did not help.
• Ran TOC 5man.  Got a nice pair of boots… which I almost lost.  Different looting mechanic?

Hypknotoad:

• Ran Naxx with the guild [1-4]
  • Mostly 9 manned
  • Wiped continuously on Gluth [5-7]
    • This may have been my fault entirely
    • Requires the hunter to kite shit loads of Zombies until a certain point.
    • Had probs holding aggro on em all.
    • Reading this guide helped
• Ran Naxx again, Cypher there this time, took a different wing. [12]
• Turned into MrT [8]
• Started the Pilgrim achievements:
  • The Turkinator was pretty easy got it on the first try in Tristfal outside Undercity [9]
  • Pointless because I missed the meta acv due to lazyness
• Took the new Zep from TB to Org
  • You actually fly the whole way
  • Troll says some funny stuff over the journey [10-11]
• Ran Ulduar 25 with Jase’s guild and some from pants on head.
  • Downed FL easily much better than last time
  • Took out razorscale after 1 wipe
  • Moved to Ingnis and wiped 4 times
  • My overall dps was pretty good!
• Dropped mining for enchanting
• Ran Uld 10 with Jase’s guild and some PoH. Downed 4 bosses and dropped a ring for me.

• US time Zone Raid Group War Pigs 1-4 server time: 9-12 EST.

We ARE NOT a raiding guild: We are a social guild who raids. And what does this mean? It means that our guild’s sole focus is not progression or frequency of raiding. It means that we raid for the sake of fun, exploration and to spend time together, not for personal gain or glory. It means that we will work with our members to succeed and we will help you learn. It means that our guild has a good time and has fun doing things other than raiding as well. It means all of our members are important and valuable, not just the raiders. If the only reason you are in it is for loot and you will be angry without it, you will not find what you need in our raid team.
RAID TIPS:
Do: Download Omen and Deadly Boss Mods or Big Wigs (and Decursive if you can remove curses, cleanse/dispell magic, etc.).
Don’t: Loot while in combat or when anyone is dead. Sometimes there is a glitch that won’t allow people to receive loot if they are dead. The best practice is to let the raid leader loot the boss.
Do: Download and use Ventrilo (even if you don’t have a mic). It greatly helps with communication.
Don’t: Release from your body during a boss fight until the entire group is dead. Someone may be able to rez you and save us the time of running back.
Do: Study up on boss fights before we see them if you want to be prepared. There’s tons of info at WoWwiki.
Don’t be afraid to ask questions if you don’t understand the fight. A raid leader should always explain the fight if someone hasn’t seen it before.
Do: Pay attention and take direction from your raid leader.
Don’t talk or interrupt in Vent while the raid leader is explaining a fight or assigning loot.
Do: Have fun and be kind and respectful of your fellow raiders.
Don’t stress out or freak out in-game or in Vent, or start
assigning blame.
DO: offer constructive ideas and solutions if you have them.
