Hey Cypher and Hyp!
I have to say that Hyp handled my previous email like a pro. I’ll have to try harder to trip Hyp up. Maybe next time I’ll try including romanized Japanese (romanji) to give Hyp a real challenge.
This weekend consisted of more beer experimentation, watching the olympics and lots of gaming. I finally finished Darksiders the other day and I have to say that I was thoroughly satisfied with the game. Incredible character designs, great gameplay, good voice-acting and an intriguing storyline once you get deeper in.
If any listeners have been on the fence, they can give Darksiders a shot come Feb. 25th when THQ makes a demo available for it. You’ll be able to get a great taste of the game from the demo since the demo contains the entire first “dungeon” of the game. (Which is timed at a conservative 90 mins according to THQ)
After finishing Darksiders the compulsion to run out and pick up Mass Effect 2 ramped up in earnest. Needless to say last night I made a run to Best Buy to pick up Mass Effect 2 and got a good 4 hours in on the game last night.
Mass Effect 2, so far, is all kinds of awesome … except when you die and the game reloads the section that you failed at. Mind you I installed the game to the hard drive and I was still sitting through 15-20 second load times.
I could ramble on, but I think I’ll wrap this up. Mass Effect 2 is calling and I’m still trying to hit Commander in Star Trek Online. Cheers!

Once again one shotted all bosses in the lower spire.
Festergut gave us more trouble this week. Got him to around 100HP before the bezerk on one attempt.
Went back the next day with a couple of different people. Think bringing Cleo (our shammy) back helped with bloodlust.
One shotted Festergut second night and proceeded to wipe on rotface.

• Firstly, say goodbye to Battleground Marks of Honor. We feel this currency system is a bit outdated and are getting rid of it. Any items which require these marks as currency will have their costs adjusted appropriately to remove this requirement. The quest NPCs will still be available to award players Honor for turning in leftover marks, but this is only to help players clear this expired currency.
• To bring the rate at which players obtain PvP rewards with Honor more in-line with the rate at which players obtain PvE rewards via the Dungeon Finder, we’ll also be increasing the amount of Honor awarded for an Honorable Kill by 100%. In light of this, the amount of experience provided from an Honorable Kill, and the amount of Honor awarded for completing the Wintergrasp weekly quests, have been reduced by 50%.
• we’re pleased to announce the implementation of the Random Battleground system! This system will work virtually the same as the Random Dungeon option in the Dungeon Finder. Players can queue with a group of up to five players for a Random Battleground in the Battleground tab.
